Batter Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Acts as a binder for the fritters.
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binding agent.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Adds a savory flavor and enhances crispiness.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Herbs Such as parsley or basil for added freshness.

Frying

Instructions
 

  • Wash the zucchinis thoroughly, trim the ends, and grate them.
  • Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated zucchini using a kitchen towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained zucchini, salt, and black pepper. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  • Add flour, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs to the zucchini mixture. Mix well.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Portion out the zucchini mixture and place in the hot oil, flattening slightly.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer cooked fritters to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Repeat with remaining mixture and serve warm.
