  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binder for the patties.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Adds depth and aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Adds mild sweetness and savory flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Imparts subtle smokiness.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Offers a hint of earthiness.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  • Remove the patties from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before assembling the burgers.
  • Assemble the burgers with the turkey patty on the bun and add your favorite toppings.
