Pizza Dough

  • 1 piece pre-made pizza dough store-bought or homemade

Cheeses

  • 200 grams brie cheese cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced

Seasonings

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze optional, for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a large circle, about 12 inches in diameter.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread half of the mozzarella cheese over the center of the dough.
  • Place the brie cheese pieces on top of the mozzarella, ensuring they are evenly distributed. Then, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  • Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese, creating a stuffed crust. Pinch the seams to seal it well.
  • Spread the marinara sauce over the exposed pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Arrange the cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, and chopped basil on top of the sauce.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Once baked, let the pizza rest for a few minutes. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before slicing.
  • Cut into wedges and serve warm.
