  • 1/4 cup Honey Provides a rich and sticky glaze.
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard Adds a sharp and tangy flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Used for marinating and adds richness.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce Enhances the umami flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For aromatic flavor.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional) Chopped parsley or dill.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, and garlic powder until fully combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a large resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the honey mustard mixture over the fillets and let them marinate for about 15-30 minutes.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • After marinating, place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down, and drizzle the remaining honey mustard glaze over the top.
  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
