  • 3. Coat the Chicken: Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts and sprinkle the spice mix generously, pressing it into the meat.
  • 4. Preheat the Skillet: Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot.
  • 5. Cook the Chicken: Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes without moving them.
  • 6. Flip the Chicken: After the first side is blackened, flip the chicken and add butter if desired. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  • 7. Rest the Chicken: Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
