Ingredients
  

Steak

  • 1 piece Leftover steak Any cut: ribeye, sirloin, filet mignon, etc.
  • to taste Salt Enhances natural flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Freshly ground for added kick.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or butter Optional, helps maintain moisture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder Optional, adds depth of flavor.
  • to taste Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary) Optional, for flavor enhancement.

Instructions
 

  • Remove steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) or heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • For the oven method, place the steak on a wire rack over a baking sheet and heat for 20-30 minutes.
  • For the skillet method, add olive oil or butter and cook the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Optionally, add garlic powder or fresh herbs while reheating for extra flavor.
  • Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer, aiming for 110-130°F (43-54°C).
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate steak within two hours of cooking. Serve with sides like roasted vegetables or a salad.
