  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 lb Cooked Chicken Breast
  • 8 oz Cooked Turkey Breast
  • 8 oz Sliced Turkey or Chicken Roll
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
  • Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in oil.
  3. Make a roux with flour and oil, whisk in milk to create a creamy sauce.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in cream cheese and Dijon mustard, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine pasta, chicken, turkey, turkey/chicken roll, and peas. Add sauce and mix well.
  6. Pour mixture into a baking dish, top with mozzarella cheese and buttered breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake until golden and bubbly. Rest, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Use different cheeses, add vegetables, incorporate herbs, or add spice for variations. Substitute breadcrumbs with crushed crackers.
