- 1 ½ lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- ½ teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 8 cloves Garlic
- ¾ cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
- ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and cut into cubes. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and oregano.
- Heat oil in a skillet and sear chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour chicken broth and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and coat in sauce.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Add red pepper flakes (optional).
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley.
Notes
Vary herbs seasonally, add citrus zest, or smoky paprika for deeper flavor. Use bouillon as a budget-friendly broth option. Adjust garlic and red pepper flakes for milder taste.
